Well...so much for my dog doing well, but now it's not his eyes. He was diagnosed about a week and a half ago with Lymphoma which is an incurable form of cancer. The only thing they can do is give him chemo for 6 months to extend is life 8-12 months total (at great financial expense of course) and although they said that dog's tolerate...

I'm so sorry you have to feel that way, I've done it before myself. I had to put one of my young boys to sleep myself. Lost five cats this year alone. One of them being my best friend of 15yrs. But I know he's in a better place now and I gave him all I could those last months. I know what you mean about not being able to imagine life without a friend like that. Sometime i start to really miss him then i remember all the happiness he brought me those 15yrs - unlike many so called "friends" that I now look back on bitterly. I hope you can work through this in the best way possible. And happy belated bday sweet miss.

Rakkasah....one of the biggest belly dance festivals in the US is happening next weekend. Lotus (including: myself, Sweetpeas, Jasmine, Bliss, Tigerlily) will be peforming Saturday night at 10pm.

I really wish I didn't live in Florida so I could come to cool things like your belly dancing show the other night. Especially considering Tigerlily was there too! We've already decided we'd hang out if I was there. I did catch a great belly dancing show put on in Gainesville a bit ago. People didn't know what to think of it and could have been better about tips though.

Today I took my dog, Ziggy, in to the Vet. to have eye surgery. He's had Glaucoma and Uveitis for a litte over a year now which I've been fighting with all kinds of medication to try to keep his sight as long as possible, but eventually he did go completely blind.

maybe by now you are in AZ.......hope you are doing well.....i dropped back by coz you may be the only person on this site that can relate...i just got cd's of the 1st couple of dead shows i ever saw..........boulder 6-7-80 and 12-9-81..!........i be bopping around cleaning the house coz i gots it too myself for most of the day..........and the roomies ain't exactly deadheads...........
