First of all, thanks to everyone for their kind words in my comment. I got a little too lazy to respond to everyone, but thanks guys. Although I wasn't happy at all that he ignored me completely at the last Firday night dinner, I've been doing better since then. But it's therapy day tomorrow, where I get to drag it up all over again tongue I...

Well it's back to square fucking one, guy wise.

This guy at Hillel I had had a crush on, well we finally got to talking and hit it off, had a lot in common, he seemed interested, etc. We go on a date which culiminates in a lengthy makeout session, and I wasn't sure if he was "saving himself" or anything (he's Orthodox) so I...

I had a friend and roommate once who used to do that to women a lot. He pursued them quite agressively, and when she was ready to take the clothes off, he had some problem about it moving too fast and he'd want to be friends with them then never talk to them again.

Then he finally admitted to himself that he's gay, and his relationships with men have been pretty normal.

Don't be mad or angry at yourself. His sudden decision that things were going too fast could have been for any number of reasons that may or may not make any sense.

It's not your fault that men can't recognize a good thing when it drops in front of their faces.

Don't worry... everyone has a dry spell, and it'll pass. Just give it time and be patient.

It's dellightful, it's delicious, it's delovely....

Man, this has been a great month but I don't want to jinx anything for certain things till I know for sure, but tonight I'm in the rare romantic and upbeat moods. It feels like a combination Red Bull rush and chocolate rush, and I'm just happy.

I apologize if you commented on my journal and I haven't commented back, just had a lot going on lately. As Jim Anchower would say, "I know it's been a long time since I rapped at ya..."

Anywho, spent last weekend at my old Mizzou stomping grounds for a friend's birthday. I've only been away from Mizzou for a couple of months and already I...

Murder She Wrote, eh....I've never watched that one though I did love Angela Lansbury in the film version of Pirates of Penzance.

I survived the monologue and history test thank God. For my monologue I wasnt quite as prepared as I should have been but I had a very high energy level for it and the feedback I got was that it really fit me. This girl told me that it was almost like I was on coke or something, but she meant it as a compliment....

I'm agnostic, but my roommates and a couple of other friends are Jewish (Messianic), and I have gone to a Passover Seder with them before. We keep separate dishes in the house, they don't drive on Shabbat, etc. Although the one things that bugs me is that one of them goes strictly by the rules, and not the idea. For instance, the girl takes Shabbat completely as a day of rest: doesn't do any work, goes on walks, and studies her Bible.

Her boyfriend, though, who is the one who converted her, doesn't really care what he does, as long as he doesn't break the rules he has chosen to live by. He will go out, but only if someone else drives. He'll go to movies as long as someone else pays. It seems like itls less of a day of rest, and more of a day that he just has to get around not being able to do certain things.

But again, I'm agnostic. What do I know?

I keep looking for a woman around here for some straight-out fooling around. Why do you sexy, geeky girls always have to be in places like St Louis?

With that said, if there's anything I can do for you, or, more to the point, to you, you just let me know.

i'm definitely happy about not having to pay the surcharge. actually Natalie and I are the two stl SG's that I am aware of. Anyway, thanks!

Thank you so much everyone concerned about my brother. When I saw him yesterday he was in a lot of pain but fortunately today most of the pain has subsided. Well, with the help of medicine of course. He was well enough to joke at my expense so I know he'll be fine. A urologist stopped by his room and later he reffered to him...

I'm glad that your brother is pulling through. smile

Which monologues did you do in The Vagina Monologues? I saw it performed once at a community college I went to. A friend of mine did the one about the different types of orgasms. She wore leather pants for that performance. rawr. love

I didn't purchse porn on V-Day because I knew it would depress me. I did go shopping though. I got vol. 2 of Cowboy Bebop. and new cd's from Chevelle and Darkest Hour. When you're single, V-Day is a great excuse for buying stuff for yourself.

My parents just took my brother to the hospital. He was in too much pain and the medicines weren't helping. I'm praying he's all right with all my heart, I fucking hate it more than I can say that he has to go through this.

Well today's been a fun day. I got my very first speeding ticket, and although in the long run it's nothing tons of people haven't gotten before and it's not the biggest deal in the world. Still, there was that minute where I naively assumed that because it was my first time I would get off with a warning. Fuck, I even was hoping I...

Ive been real lucky not to get caught sppeding. I dont know how it works in the US but here, for the first two years; two speeding tickets means you lose yr license and have to start again. Its like a period of probation. Mines up on MArch 14th! Sorry about yr bro. for some reason life tends to shit on those who dont deserve it!
kris7:
I've been pulled over 3 times for speeding and never got a ticket. Don't ask me how I did that. I guess the cops around here appreciate it when you admit it and show some humility.

The last time it happened I was speeding for a good reason though. My sister's friends called my cel saying she wasn't answering her cel or the house phone. I called both numbers and got no response. I was getting really worried so I was doing 80 mph down the fast lane. I got pulled over but the cop let me off cuz he couldn't be bothered with tallying up my fines. Looking back, it was pretty funny that his attitude was pretty much "ah fuck it, watch your ass kid!". Regardless, getting pulled over sure does put your ego in place.

I've never seen the original, but I have seen Rock and Roll High School Forever numerous times. Yes, that's the one with Corey Feldman. Looking back on it is amusing because now that I play guitar I can plainly see the only member of the band that was actually playing their respective instrument was the drummer. Also, who could forget this line: "HEY! THAT NOT MY PEE!"

biggrin

Man, if it wasn't for President McKinley I wouldn't have to read the the book Murdering McKinley for history class. Although turn of the century culture is interesting (partly cause I love the whole imagery of kids playing stickball in the street, pies cooling on windowsills and and Vaudeville rapscallions) I'm just plain not interested in the presidents. I thought maybe listening to the musical...

dannydmc:

I always feel a bit sorry for McKinley, he really did love his wife despite all of the troubles that occured to her. You have to give the man some credit for his devotion to her.

That having been said, if he hadn't been shot ,we never would have had Roosevelt as president which, I feel, would have been a disaster.

If I had grown up in that period, I'd have been a politically active student from a predominantly agricultural part of Wisconsin and a devoted follower of Robert LaFollette; the Govorner and founder of the Progressive movement. Actually, now that I think of it, thats pretty much how I am today as well smile

D'OH for double posting.

Mardi Gras was fun, although I woulda killed to be there with anyone but my dad. Do you have any idea how awkward it is to hear you dad hoot at the women flashing their tits?
And of course my own exhibitionist tendancies were squashed by his presence. If I was there by myself or with friends, my boobies woulda gotten...
