This weekend, I cleaned. I'm talking about the sort of cleaning that involves getting down on your hands and knees with an old toothbrush and scrubbing the crevices you didn't even realize were there. I was mercilessly thorough, and the kitchen is sparkling. No one can say I ever do a half-assed job of ANYTHING.
we also went to the bookstore to check out travel guides, as I got the notion that I want to go to mexico. I want to see more pyramids and ruins and mexican landscapes and maybe frida's house. what's better, the Let's Go guides, or the Lonely Planet?
random fact: I'm extremely clumsy and once, when I was about 10, I fell into a cactus and got a bloody handful of spines. I fell also this weekend. and hit my jaw and brought my companion down with me, who landed on top of me and scraped up his hand. I have no doubt that I will die from clumsiness someday.
