so i was part of a group of artists that created then donated freestyle lamps to an auction to benefit leukimia and lymphoma. i was really pleased to actually be useing artwork to actively help people.
the turn out for the auction left something to be desired but we raised a couple grand and my lamp sold for the highest price (beating out several internationally known artists ) which alos made me smile
the last months have been extrememly static for me so i haven't updated not wishing to inflict mediochrity on you all , but it begins to look like i might make it as an artist in a couple mediums !!!!!

I really liked reading about your lamp. I don't know if you have read this on my profile or anything, but I teach art workshops in women's medium/maximum security prisons in RI. Mainly writing, poetry,....
