someone torched their car at 6 this morning. confused the hell out of me. blaring endless horn, smoke, flames, firetrucks, followed by mini explosions. Finally figured it out and went back to sleep.

new year's eve I decided to hang alone. It's been a tough year. I had invites (I'm not a total loser). I had two date offers but I didn't know them that...

Like an idiot, I got way too little sleep the night before new years. So, I pulled the staying in alone thing too.... while I missed out on my close friends having stupid fun smile. I realized at like 6:30 pm friday that I was all of the sudden way too exhausted... and thought to myself.. I messed up pretty big.

I'd say something about the gunshots, but the issue with the gun is philly fills me with such disgust, I can't say anything civilized.

Oh yeah. Hi tiff!

I can't help but think about an early scene in Bowling for Columbine where a guy tries to take a picture of his dog while the dog has a shotgun slung over its shoulder and the guy dies in a gun accident... It might make your dog laugh about gun fire? Maybe not... smile

A friend of mine wrote 2010 sucked on her FB. She had some serious losses so I wont take that away from her. I was about to respond "ditto that" but honestly I don't feel that way.

I'm looking forward to what 2011 brings for sure and am pretty psyched that after radiation, every day will get better because my energy will keep coming back....

I <3 thee, woman. Your strength and outlook always make me smile. It's a retarded, lopsided, drooling, more-sneer-than-smile smile but still ...

once again you inspire me.

Its my cancerversary. Strange statement eh? It means that one year ago I got that dreadful and unexpected news. What a year its been. Ive had a ton of support through this process but it has been a challenging year to say the least. 9 months of chemo, 3 surgeries, radiation next, weight loss, weight gain, weight loss, exhaustion and sadness and fear like Ive...

That is one hell of a year. You have travelled many miles, but you are an inspiration to all. All the best in 2011!

I'm so proud of you.
How was your Christmakwanzivus?
And don't worry about medical bills -- they are the least damaging of all things on your credit and you can make obscenely small payments forever.

love the snow today. I don't love the cold but if it's going to be cold, glad we have real snow on the ground. It helps cover up this FILTHY city.

My neighbor shovelled us both. Good thing because I am in no way able to shovel without doing some damage to the ta-tas.

I'd be pretty psyched if work were closed tomorrow.
twotoner:
You and I both....the work closed thing, not the damaged tatas.

Nice to talk with you today!

ARRR!!!

Good luck with work closure! How did the tatas fare?

As mentioned before, I'm not into the whole Xmas thing. I mean I'm psyched to spend time with my "friend family" as always but I refuse to get caught up in the hoopla too much.

This year I made all my gifts. Pretty bags for the ladies, and pjs for the guys. There are so many cool fabrics at Spool (for the ladies) and some pretty...

Risotto doesn't really hold up when transported.

You're more than welcome to make me it, though!

I too am not a Christmas kind of guy. Santa died three years ago as far as I'm concerned.

Even before that the commercialization of it turned me off to the idea. Idiots rushing to stores for Black Friday. End of the world if a gift didn't get purchased.

Makes me kinda sick.

Yet, I have a Christmas tree. The way I see it is that the cutting down of a tree is good for the environment. New growth cleans the air. Old trees make great mulch.

Circle of life..

ARRR!!!

first day back at work after my two-hour radiology appt. Just when I start to forget or start to physically feel better...there it is;the "C" word! I think that's why I'm so open about breast cancer. It shouldn't be whispered like it used to be. We need a cure and now.

Also, I honestly never knew I could get it so young. I've met girls...

brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! jesus christ it's cold! I reallly need that wood burning stove!

However, it wasn't so many years ago that I lived in a sick loft in N. PHilly that had no heat and THAT winter was effing brutal. got out of bed and could see my breath. We did have one kerosine heater I would sit by with the dogs to warm up though....

Pretty much any afternoon/evening would work although the weekends are hard to predict ahead of time. Whatever works for you. Do you still have my number?
