Texas SG Camping Trip: Nov 30th through Dec 2nd
Earlybird camping Nov 29th at the same place for those of us who can make it early.
Where: Lake Somerville State Park - Birch Creek Unit :
Actual campsite numbers will not be known till November 30th in the morning, I'll post them in my blog and in each forum when I get them.
What: Camping, drinking, stories, games, hiking, and whatever else might just happen. There are no rules, we'll have 5 campsites all to ourselves and should be secluded enough away from any other campers that music, noise, and line of sight to our camp should be no issue.
What to bring: Warm clothing, blankets, wood, grill able food (for yourself and to share), anything you want to drink, anything you want to smoke, a cuddle partner or two ( or three or four, or find one or more there), snacks, toys.
Cost: Total cost of the 5 campsites for two nights and one campsite for one night is $165, any donations to help will be appreciated but I can cover it on my own (donations will probably go into buying alcohol, juice and soda, wood, and food anyway). Day use fees are 4 dollars per person per day so $12 for the weekend and the early birds will pay $16. Now I can cover anyone who shows up who needs it... but if you can pay for yourself that would be great.
Directions:
* From Houston take Hwy 290 West to Brenham. Take SH 36 North through Somerville to Lyons. Turn left on Hwy 60. Travel approximately 8 miles. Turn left on Park Road 57. Park is 4 miles on Park Road 57.
