Pictures!
Sky
Vine
Wood
Red Leaves
Apples from the Tree
Sand Dunes
Wild Fire Smoke, Blotting Out the Sun
Middle of Nowhere
Birds on the Wall
Railroad Crossing
Between Sea, Sky, and Sand
Well, I tried to figure out how to insert pictures into the journal last week with no luck. Maybe this will work. I am not a computer wiz, or a photographer for that matter. All of these were taken with a disposable camera. I think they turned out well. I hope they show that it is possible to do a lot with very little. I'm a painter, so my creative tools are very primative: a stick with some hair on it, crushed pigment suspended in a medium, and a surface. I am getting better at the high tech stuff, though. Maybe I will invest in a digital camera soon and pursue this photography thing further.
We had an ice storm over the weekend. Yuck.

Those are amazing. I particularly like the sky picture and the vine picture. I know it is not necessarily having the highest tech stuff but rather it is the way you see things. You can see things that others may just pass by. Those really are good. Hey if you can do that with a disposable imagine what you can do with a digital camera.

I think they're beautiful.
