Not much going on, other than the sore throat I thought was smoke-induced from the weekend has become a nasty cold. I've just had too many health problems this fall/winter for my liking, and though I may have gotten sick and/or injured anyway, it makes me aware that I haven't been treating my body very well. I'm not 18 anymore, I'm not indestructible, and I'm not thin. I do require exercise to keep from gaining weight and just not be flabby, and I haven't really had time for that, and all the going out I've been doing has led me to eating junk food and drinking too much, and inhaling too much smoke, which probably lowers your immune system as well. So there are some changes I have to make in my lifestyle, diet etc. the most dramatic of which will be NO BEER. I have been drinking way too much of it lately, and beer has no nutritional value whatsoever, plus it makes you gain weight, plus it's full of yeast, which does NOT do a body good. The only good thing about it is it's cheap. So henceforth, except for the occasional brewsky when the situation demands it (like a cold one at a summer cookout ), I'm off beer. I will stick to a glass or two of wine, or the occasional plain hard liquor...no sugary empty-calorie mixed drinks. Blah. Let's all have a moment of silence for beer.
Anyway, I did a bit of Xmas decorating a few days ago, and here are the results:
Aww, what a cute li'l silver tree. The box said it was 4 feet tall--NOT true, but still cute.

Yep, beer is a killer. That's why I just stick to the hard stuff. That and I like it more.
So what're you guys up to for Christmas Eve/Christmas and New Years?
A strip club would be a definite change.
