OKAY, so this is really dorky, and no-one other than me will care about it, but since I'm trying to get into the local fire dept. which is super selective, I've been working my ass off to get ready for the physical, and last night I went to the Y and had full long underwear, sweats, a hoodie (hood up), a toque, and winter gloves on, with a 50 pound pack on my back. I looked ri-god-damn-diculous. I think I had a few photos taken of me. But I ran on the treadmill faster than the other people who were on them. I'm excited now. (end of dorky, excited, beer-fuelled ravings)
Anyways, I'm having fun at work, running around on trusses and playing with hammers, but I can't wait to be making enough money to actually be comfortable, and doing somthing that helps people again. I miss the army, believe it or not. It was so much fun, and it was rewarding.
My damn motorcycle is having problems, it's getting way too lean on the high-way, unless I open up the choke, and even then I have to open it up more if the wind picks up or the engine will sputter down. How the balls do I fix this? (It's a Honda Shadow VT750 from 1983, if that helps the non-existant person who reads this)

Hey have you checked to see where the pin is set on your carb? this might help your lean problems, or one of your jets could be clogged.
