Dromaeosauridae is the name of the raptor family of dinosaurs...so literally almost no one would yell that. They'd say, "oh no, raptor." And, they'd both be right and still culturally relevant in the eyes of their peers without looking like an idiot. It would be the equivalent of yelling, "oh no, a canid," rather than, "oh no, a dog." And, I think the Jurassic Park series was able to yell, "oh no, raptor," without drunk 16-year-olds thinking they're uncool for failing to come up with a slang term.

And, I know what they said about the alternate timeline...which I mentioned. But, my point is that choosing to go to this time period is stupid. Yes it's the only rift in time they had, but they don't actually have to use it. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. No reasonable scientific mind would see that as a viable option.

Wow; I dislocated my shoulder SO bad last night! Worst it's ever been, had to call an ambulance (by the way, turns out that none of the painkillers EMS is allowed to use work on me, they tried 3), go to the ER, get two full-grown men to force it back in, get X-rays anda sling, etc. Now I'm looking at surgery and physio. WOW, I've felt like shit ever since getting back from Vegas. Had aches and pains this whole time, had a sinus and throat infection, etc. Have a massage booked for tomorrow, so hopefully that'll help. Maybe I should go get tattooed, that always makes me feel better! Or DRUNK! That usually helps too. tongue

OH YEAH, Physical is over and done with! I did pretty damn well it sounds like, and I was the first person through it this year, which is kind of cool! Hopefully Human Resources takes that into consideration, who knows.
