i have just entered the state of mind where i can clearly understand death metal lyrics. every growl and snarl becomes a syllable in the service of satan.

one time i got a black metal compilation out of curiousity and all of the songs sounded (to my apparently untrained ears) like almost the same arpeggiated riff played over and over again really fast. meedley meedley meedly meee ...
