I volunteer at a cat shelter 4 mornings a week but the paying gig is pet sitting. A woman who owns a professional pet sitting service (licensed and bonded and junk) contracts sits out to me which keeps me very, very busy and driving all over town.
I had 6 sits today, and I spend an hour at each household. It's hard work but it's also fun.
P.S. Yup, we're vegan.

So, I'm feeling better. I had a fantastic weekend with a friend from LA. One of those weekends where the sun makes everything almost too pretty. At home alone today. I'm going to try and get a job at the local art house movie theater. a small job, a small life. One I can handle.
