I went away kind of hoping it would all work itself out, and I guess it has in a fashion...
the certainty of uncertainty. LIke having plans made and ready for the weekend and her walking away from them just like that, and telling you its not your fault.
But it is really. You both understand that now, and to some far-imagined extent, it doesn't really matter anymore. it's just the way things are, the way it is sometimes.
And you know this is ok, because it has to be and you don't know where it will stop if it isn't.
Like I said, the certainty of uncertainty.
but despite everything I've just written, things are cool. a hugely ill-advised spur-of-the-moment trip to London to see some friends and the most beautiful exhibition I've seen, a trip home last weekend to see my dog (see Left) and some sunshine. It's just sometimes I want it all to mean so much more, I want to do so much more and I just don't know where to begin....
If that makes any sense and doesn't sound too entirely crazy.
