So not much is new. It's raining again, thank god! That means the snow is melting! I've been knitting a lot, reading a lot, school stuff & work. Money is tight right now so I'm laying low.
I'm considering applying for teaching jobs in the north. I wouldn't go somewhere crazy isolated like in the far North West Territories or Nunavut but some of the mining/lumber towns would be bearable for a couple of years. There is a job fair for Education students & teachers next week at UBC and many northern Canadian communities are looking for teachers. They pay about 10,000 more, moving expenses and northeren living bonus pays. I think it may be a good way to cut expenses, reduce my student loans and not shop so much since there will be very few places for me to check out. I can use the internet to maintain contact with the civilized world. I need to think about it.
