What a month!
Several exciting things have happened....
I'm definitely paying the least now for rent than I ever have (even cheaper than living in the dorms) and I've actually got a cool house with my own room.
I was able to switch my major to Anthropology. We're just starting the 2nd week of class and I'm really liking it so far. All my teachers have done years and years of field work and all seem very nice. The only setback is that now I have to buy so many more books than I'm used to. So now, I'll actually be graduating a semester sooner than I would have also.
The dog's doing fine. He's not exactly letting us know when he needs to pee, though, so the hallway carpet is now getting cleaner than it was when we moved in because I have to scrub all the little areas he pees in.
I visited my mom and we drove down to Panama City Beach for a company picnic and they basically paid for everything while we were there - even admission to this carnival/amusement park that will be torn down at the end of September. My favorites are always the rides that will likely give people heart attacks, but we rode the giant carousel/swing thing quite a few times. While I was at home, I went digging through my mom's pictures and found some of my baby pictures (see profile pic). That was when we were living in Texas.
There's a lot I've left out....and now that I have a computer again (sorta) I can update more frequently.
Hope everyone is doing well. Smooches
