Saw StarWars yesterday with my son. I thought it was really good. 2 hours flew by and the movie was over before you knew it. Jonathan loved r2d2 he couldn't stop talking about him. It amazed me that out of the whole movie he picked the little guy zapping a robot as the coolest part.
Then, after the movie, Jonathan decided he wanted McD's agian. I told him he had it for lunch and we were having pasta for dinner. He got all mad but he keep control of his temper. We got home and he layed on his bed for half an hour. Finally he came into the kitchen and said pasta would be fine for dinner and that he loved me. I told him I loved him very much too and that he held it together really well today. I wish he could fine a nice middle ground. He is either happy or mad.
This is the first time I have ever keep a journal. I find writing calms me. It isn't easy for me to write. I can't spell very well and have to use the dictionary all the time.
I miss falling asleep with someone in my arms and waking up next to them. I think those are some of the best times I have every had.
Guess, it's time to go do stuff around the house.
My daughter just came home. We talked for a few minutes before she ran out to go to a farmer's market. She was complaining about going out to dinner last night with her boyfriend and his friends. This experence for them has raised issues about money, food and social stuff.
I always took her to the best restaurants. She could always order what every she wanted, no matter of the price. She has probably eaten more different kinds of food then most adults have. I cooked really nice meals at home. Especially on holidays and special occassions. We never went to a chain restaurant. I dispraise them for many reasons.
I think I have corrupted my daughter and her outlook on things. Her boyfriend took her to Applebee's for dinner. Now, he is 22 and she is 18, I don't know what she was expecting but Applebee's differently wasn't it. Then she wanted dessert he started complianing about the price. She told him the whole meal cost $30 for the 4 of them and it wasn't like he took her to Morimoto's for dinner. (very nice Japanese restaurant in Phila). He told her she was a snob and they where from different backgrounds. She said "YEH!, NO KIDDING!". Then they had a big fight over it and everything else going on in their relationship. She was smiling at me when she was telling me all this. I actually like him. He is very nice and treats her well but I don't think she is going to stay with him in the long run.
I can't wait to talk with her tonight and hear what happened today.
She is me reincarnated as a women. Looks, attitude, humor, everything about her. She even writes like me. Infact we can sign things for each other and no one would know.
