It is the curse of those who are either competent, confident, or compassionate to take some kind of parental role to the needier of ones friends. I playthe caretaker to some of mine too often i think. but hey they are friends right.

sayin i dont wanna usually doesnt work with the needy types, but it is true that they cant make you caretake for them. I usually just tell them to take care of their own shit and tell me how it works out when they have.
