I knew most of the bar staff at St John when I lived there, and a couple of them tried to get me hired on cooking there, to no avail. Very depressing for me, as it was my fav. place to eat in London.
I knew James, Laura, Olivier, Alex (who moved to the A&H), and er ..... I can't remember the other girl's name, Patty?
I was told they had more people in the kitchen than they needed, and a waiting list of people that wanted to work there.
Realy bummed me out, if I could have done nothing in my 10 months in London other than cook there, I'd have been content.
