i went for a lovely walk in the rain soaked woods this morning. it was great seeing the new plants and wild flowers getting set to bloom. unfortunately, i slipped on a rain soaked log and tore and stretched several ligaments in my left foot. i guess it is better than a sprain, but it sort of sucks gimping around and wincing in pain. gives me a greater appreciation of the mobility that i am blessed with normally. it is fortunate i do not need to stand for the work that i do. send painkllers.

yeah, magnolias are one of my fave trees...the traditional southern american ones, but i do appreciate the other breeds, most definitely.
yeah, family would not be family without some sort of drama. thankfully, it has disappated and more or less worked itself out. yay for that.
