whoops...winter is over. summer is here and things roll onward, however disjointedly.
the bridge which collapsed a year ago is almost completely replaced, which is incredible in that the Dept. of Transportation was involved in the replacement process. govt. actually moved faster than glacial speed, but i suppose that is necessary when replacing a major feed and freeway bridge across the Mississippi river.
