i just received a press release from the University of Minnesota. it proudly proclaimed that they are going to require that all graduates be able to write coherently. a) is that not an entry requirement? b) what a concept, a university graduate that can write. next thing you know, they will be able to read. wtf

nereid:
wtf? stange, maybe they should raise their standards?
cptpyjama:
If they didn't accept people who are ignorant and stupid (example: don't know the difference between "there" and "their", are unable to spell, can't put together a paragraph) they wouldn't have enough money to run the university. Sad but true.
