f'ing cold. it was 21F BELOW zero last night. let's see that is -29.4 C. the frozen wasteland lives.

watching the news tonight, i find that there have been several water main freezes and breaks around town. also, school buses here are mandated to use biodiesel. that is a laudable and wonderful idea, but it tends to gel when very cold, bringing the bus to a complete halt with no heat for the kids. oops
