aaaaack...i just returned from seeing my cousin who is at a treatment center for his alcoholism. we found him 01/07 near death in his bedroom. he spent 2 weeks in the hospital and was sent to treatment. he had been taking court ordered Antabuse, but quit taking it in December. things went downhill rather quickly.

well...sitting here waiting for a winter storm to develop over the region, part of a larger system affecting the midwest and the ohio valley. it has been a rather strange winter here, quite warm and not a lot of snow or any precipitation for that matter. same system that caused all the problems in kansas and points south.
de Sade is Very Fascinating, indeed. the A&E teevee biography him is something rather well done, too.
i succeeded in not falling today...woohoo!!
but, alas, it is raining...i'm thinking chunky boots, that don't slip is a good idea, for the sidewalk ramblings i have to take this morning...
