Good morning, my dear friends!
It's Saturday morning here, and I'm enjoying morning coffee and sweet roll bread.
I've got tons of candies which are supposed to be shipped to my friend.
You know, even I don't eat them, but I love choosing kind of stuffs, especially when the new season flavor ones come out.
I was just wondering how much the shipping cost would be.
So I scaled the weight of them, and saw the chart at the Japan Post website.
7000JPY!!!
It's about 53EUR / 76USD.
Well, so I decided that I'm going to reduce some.
But I do not eat Japanese candies at all, that's the problem.
If I take out some from them, reduced candies will be stored in somewhere in the kitchen pantry, as emergency provisions. Chocolates will help my life, I'm sure.
But I know I will get some more when I find new ones at the shop again.
I have to stop it....
I love trading candies with people here on this site, and I have sent many packets to more than 15 people, though I got packets from only 4 people. I used to be in Chocolate Swapping group since when it was started, but when I knew many people wanted to get some from me, and wouldn't send me anything from the start. I expected something yummy, of course, though I was just a tool for them to get candies free.
Of course, there are so many good people here, I know. Sometimes I feel bad, when I got a huge packet which was obviously more expensive than the one I sent. And people like them, always send me a packet before they receive the packet I send. But I learned that many people here on this site won't send me a packet until they receive mine. Maybe I am not trusted, or they are afraid if I'll cheat them. But it is not fair, isn't it?
I didn't mean to bitch about anything. This is not a big deal, and I know there are nice and lovely friends here. Money doesn't matter to me, I just don't want to be a "candy provider" , that's all. Again, I need to tell, I love my friends here, and I forget the bad feeling about chocolate swapping or trading soon. It's nothing at all for me.
Just I need to think what I should treat these new candies.....
I can't choose what to send, what not to send, so I might send them all in a packet.
I want to hear and know that my friends get happy and smiling with them.
That's important for me. If I can make my friends happy, I'm happy, too.

I once had an azuki Kit Kat... so delicious! I wish I could get azuki-flavoured things here! There was another city I lived in for a while that sold frozen , and I couldn't buy them often enough, ahhh.
Oh, I'm also always up for trading candy from Canada if you want! I used to participate in swaps on livejournal, but it was more items than candy. Still! We have lots of maple candy and delicious things too
In smaller places in Canada, the trick to locating Japanese goods is to look in the Korean stores!
