Alexander is bombing at the box office, which means it is getting what it deserves. I think this film will top Water World as the biggest bomb in movie history. Alexander cost about $150 million to make and has grossed $30 million. If you have not seen this film I would recommend checking out books on Alexander the Great since you will gain more from reading them than watching this film. I am not saying it was a horrible film or even a bad film, it was a worthless film with no real point to it. Maybe that was Stone's intent, to make a film without a point, if so, then he did a really good job.


Maybe what he was trying to say that there was no real point to Alexander's conquest's, and since there was no real point to his conquest of the Middle East, there is no point to the US conquest of the Middle East, but I would disagree since I think the Bush administration does have a purpose for their conquests.


Oh, I know, Alexander was trying to get away from his mother...which I don't get since his mother was hot, you could see Angelina Jolie's nipples through her shirt. But if you want to see her nipples, I can list a few movies: Hackers, Pushing Tin, Original Sin, or here

So, the point of this journal is to say the film Alexander had no point, it was a disappointment since Oliver Stone has made some great films in the past, and the movie is getting what it deserves at the Box Office. Actually, the real point to this journal was to point out Angelina Jolies nipples.
