I had an awsome weekend!!! I got to be with my beautiful girlfriend. *beam* We spent the weekend in Boston and had a blast.
We went to the Aquarium and saw the new Jellies exhibit which was cool. I managed to talk to the small blue penguins which was fun. They would call back and forth and I was able to get them to come to where I was. To them I'm an official member.
We stayed over at her aunts place. It seems her aunt is a millionare. No really. If you go to the Boston Aquarium there are two large apartment buildings to the right of it (if facing the aqaueium). She lives in the one closest to there. On the top floor. She has two penthouses that she had converted into one. Simply breath taking.
So the next day we went to see the LoTR exhibat at the Science Museum. That was fucking cool!! Sadly no cameras are allowed so no pics. I'm not a crazy go nuts fan like my gf is of LoTR (her licence plate is "ROHAN") but I loved the movies/books and love medival things. The amount of detail, time and effort put into all of the props is amazing. So much detail that was takin for granted. Like in Theodin's armor he has a sun emblem pressed on the INSIDE of his armor. The same as his necklace...you never see it but they put it there since the fictional people would have done the same. It added to the whole idea of "being" the king....little stuff like that.
Like the armor, weapons and costumes of all the races were different. Like the Orcs and Goblins used deerhair as fletching while the elves used a turkey feathers. Which, is you don't know anything about archery, isn't important but if you do then it makes a world of difference.
Simple awsome!!!
We hung out with friends and had a great time all in all. I am very pleased with my time spent.
The only downsides were leaving. The parking garage guy was slow as frozen snail shit and kept messing things up so it took forever to leave the parking. Parking was very expencive to the tune of $48. But that was for 2 days. Then I got pulled into traffic so lost my gf who I was goign to lead.
But things worked out...and she's almost home now.
*sigh* I must shower and then crawl into bed.
I hope, as always, that everyone is doing well. If anyone needs anything please feel free to ask. If I can help I shall.
Take care all.

So shines a good deed in a naughty world."
