28 Days Later...
And I still haven't touched a cigarette.
Granted there have been days where the temptation was pretty strong mind you, but me and the 'lady-friend' as I will call her for now.... made a bit of a pact that if I touch a cigarette, she's going to cut off my tattoos with a dull rusty knife. (Ok, I'm more not touching them because I dont want to disappoint a gal that I'm head over heels for, read: 'Lady-friend')
Its cool. I start dropping the nicotine dose next week. (well... Thursday) which kind of frightens me a little bit because well, I don't want to slip up.
The last time I had cravings really bad to the point of an almost anxiety attack, she told me to come over to her place, where we watched Family Guy, and drank chai tea with Baileys. And I calmed down.
Thing is, shes out of town until Sunday... so, I dont have that 'crutch' so to speak. Its going to be rugged. But I think I can do it.
On another note, thanks to the rad folks of SG for the pep talks. You folks are the best, and I'm suprised that here of all places I find people who give honest and helpful advice. (As opposed to my 'friends' on Facebook who offer nothing but 'oh look at us being funny' comments, instead of helping...)
Much love to you all.
