…Riverfront Walk that is. Wilmington Delaware’s gem amongst the thorns of urban decay and financial network domination. But it’s a rather safe and enjoyable enclave for a single stroll, family outing, bike hike, grub crawl, etc… and settled in among the breathtaking Christina River’s natural vegetation shoreline and habitat reclamation are several unique sculptures meant to be interactive. This one is titled River Song by artist John Moss https://www.facebook.com/100064496537977/videos/1195070650923254/
This piece is hand crafted from individually forged stainless steel tubes welded at precise angles to naturally amplify sounds.
It’s said that if 3 singers or instrument players project their voices or sounds into the 3 center tubes it will become naturally amplified by means of harmonic resonance. It’s also a spiffy way to amplify your cell phone speakers by holding it screen side towards the openings. Another cool and very cheap way to amplify a cell phone with decent frequency response is place it inside a clean empty clay or ceramic flower pot as tall as the device 💡
🎶So here… have some Tubular Bells. From way back in a 1973 BBC LIVE performance of Mike Oldfield’s iconic classic. The song that he originally shopped around and was eventually picked up by Richard Branson to help kick off his fledgling music biz Virgin Records, and, when The Exorcist chose it as the movie’s title track, they both became gazillionaires 🖤💰
