Slipped and fell on wet floors in some stank ass homeless shelter in Delaware while I’m waiting out my application for rent capped permanent housing. Broke my back in 2 places, dislocated an elbow. They’re all like “so what?”
…my lawyer, that’s what! Look I’m hurt but I’m tough from over 8 years on the street or bumming shelters - most of that was during the height of covid - then I caught it myself (critical COVID ICU 38 days) - and, oh yeah a little thing like I died 3 times last year from heart attacks and minor strokes, and am currently surviving a very complicated open heart surgery where the assistant kneeled on my exposed lung totally blowing it apart while they were desperately trying to clamp off an aneurysm attached to my aorta… so yeah I can take a punch or two, but that place is seriously fucked up. If it does go to court I don’t want the proverbial Forrest Gump million dollar injury to cause a cash verdict. That’s directly taking the food and safety from others just as much deserving as me and my core wiring can’t allow that. What is deemed appropriate should I be allowed a victim’s impact statement is a top to bottom staff forced exit and they be put into State receivership for at least a year.
I need some new professional medical diagnoses because the numbness in my arm and both legs is gradually getting worse…then just let me go to pasture with a clean soul. Idk, they shoot horses don’t they?
Delaware is a weird “old boy” state meaning it’s your connections that matter not your poor record or apathetic attitude. So yeah… tell ‘em Bob what to expect after the reckoning brewing on the horizon 🎶
