Got a donated a 14 pound turkey today along with a 10 pound sack of potatoes and about 5 pounds of mixed carrots, celery and onions to the men’s shelter I help manage. All the guys scattered when I asked who’s gonna get this project finished in time for dinner at 6 o’clock, sooo… I called upon my experience as a chef for a homeless shelter back in Baltimore, and… voila! It was Thanksgiving in March! And not even a crumb of anything left to put away. Someone even licked the gravy bowl 😂
