…just beginning to shed her stamens.
Photo taken outside among the garden landscapes of Bayhealth Hospital here in Dover. I’m no pro, but here goes: used iPhone 12 Pro Max on regular 1X photo setting - portrait mode distorted the actual subject) at 11” away from the subject, standard recommended edit correction ((sidebar: I detest how this iPhone’s graphics programming arbitrarily assigns color fields that are often WAAAY off genuine Pantones)) anyway, I had to tweak everything a couple clicks up or down, then go back and look at the original blossom, then tweak again. And I used no tint or saturation filters at all, they weirdly grayed out the leaf structure and the center white petal I had clicked on the touchscreen narrowing it to get the petals on target, and a micro focus correction to register some of the spent pollen lining the inside whorls, kept getting flashed out like a starburst. #exhausting
But I do it for love of the art 😎
I’m hitting the pawn shop for a real camera asap 💰📸
