(genuine 1940’s hand wrought solid copper rooster weather vane for auction at Spence’s Bazaar today) …it’s at least six feet tall and I couldn’t lift it by myself, nice patina too.

@a01020201 it’s solid copper (disregard the strut hardware fastening it to the table) and back in the day those copper masterpieces sat atop the barn then wired to a piece of scrap iron buried deep below - lightning strike deflector.

@robertbluesman my great aunt’s family owned a turn off the century farm / hospital, it was a lot of fun as a kid exploring the property, It was super cool
