…btw, that’s wild milkweed she’s perched upon, very beneficial plant for migrating Monarch Butterflies, it’s the only plant species that feeds ravenous Monarch “instars” all Summer until they molt into fully fledged butterflies and migrate 1000’s of miles into South America to breed the next generation. Grown Monarchs also pollinate food crops, extremely beneficial for humans - and Ladybugs are also beneficial by eating their own weight daily in aphids which would otherwise damage food crops if left unchecked. I’ll come back here next month to begin filming Monarch caterpillars between instar stages and cocoon growths. 😎
