By now it’s no secret how much I cherish the photography of Man Ray especially his groundbreaking use of props and meticulous hand editing of his original photos (now well known as photoshopping) in the genre of nude art photography. And decades after his death his works blow away auction record setting prices - his hand retouched 1924 photo of the silhouette of one of his favorite Muses model Kiki de Montparnasse with embellished carved violin holes entitled Le Violon d'Ingres recently set the new worldwide highest auction price for an original photo at $12,400,000.
@r_girardi, in my humble opinion, captures the essence of Man Ray’s philosophy and composition skills in an exceptionally captivating SOTD featuring @beatriceylenia as the perfect Muse. Take a Look, I tagged it SG Hall of Fame and for good reason 😎
