😳 I’m COVID contact exposed by a guy here at the shelter who thought it was more important to sneak out overnight last week for some stray ass than to protect himself and the rest of us now stuck in 14 day quarantine. His bunk was right next to mine. He was hacking and vomiting all the time until staff finally figured out they needed to take his temperature which was 102F. By then it was game over. He tested positive that night after 6 days of close contact. If I had the cash for a lawyer I’d sue them and him for assault with a deadly weapon.
Please follow proper COVID hygiene wherever you are. This thing is far from over, and here in Delaware we’re exceeding the “7 Day Average” by several hundred new cases and deaths every day. Numerous reports of re-infection while vaccinated too.
