It really says something about me that in late May, I am already planning for Christmas. Despite the fact that my daughters were away visiting their father's family, I really had a wonderful time last year.

We had ourselves our very own Charlie Brown Christmas tree.



I learned that Vince Guaraldi (the man that composed all the Charlie Brown music, including my very favorite Christmas song "Christmas Time Is Here") was born on my birthday.

John got me loads of really well thought out presents, which just reconfirmed that I had myself a man who genuinely cared about me.

I also discovered a love and talent for creating gift baskets.



I made all sorts of goodies that went into that and everyone was impressed. Now, all I can think about is the gift basket I'll be making everyone this coming Christmas. I'm going to make chocolate mint cookies, mint cocoa mix, personalized mugs, Christmas cards for everyone (even better than last years water color/ collages), chocolate mint lotion, chocolate mint scrub, and a crocheted scarves and put it in a green and brown basket. I just can't wait to make it!!! I wish I could make gads of them right now and just give them out to everyone.
