New Job
I totally rocked my new job yesterday. I expoed (helped tray all the food and get things ready to carry out) and I didn't miss anything the entire day. I had no complaints at all, only lots and lots of compliments. Seriously, everybody kept talking about how awesome I was doing and they seemed genuinely impressed.
It's easy to be helpful in this group though. Cause they all have such a team spirit. Everyone is there just to help out and get the job done, which feels great! Also, everyone is super nice and fun. I think I'm really going to like this job as I get good at it. And I'm starting to think I am really going to be good with it. And with my customer service skills, people are going to absolutely love me. It's going to be great.
Working two jobs really makes you appreciate the free time you have. I take lots of naps and really try to listen to my body's needs. But when night comes around and I have the night off from Swanson's, I've been going out, which is a blast. Hung out with Craig the last two nights, my best friend. And before that the Reverend show was awesome.
Last night Nick was at the last bar we ended up at. He bought me all my drinks there, which I decided to allow as asshole tax. He apologized LOADS for being fucking psychotic the other night. He seems to be coming to terms with the reality that he did fuck up beyond belief with me, which is good. I hope he works at becoming more stable, I told him that he should seek professional help and I think that made him realize that he does, in fact, have a problem.
Other than that? I've been getting shit done, talking to good people on the phone and being awesome in general... you know, the usual.
