requiem

I picked up a refill on Puffy's medication today. I got to the vet in the middle of all their end-of day shut-down activity. One actual vet works at the place and her office is just off the lobby. One of the techs was headed into the vet's office and on her way, she stepped onto the dog scale which is right outside the office. When she got off, she covered the display so nobody would see her weight! But I saw everything! I wonder how embarrassed she would be if she knew I saw. And I wonder if she would rather I had seen down her shirt than seen her weight...

I know it's like 18 years later, but I'm in love with this. Her face and her restrained intensity are absolutely beautiful.
