new to suicidegirls.com.
i've known of the site and the group for a few years now. but i've always ridden the fence about joining. i grew up in a predominantly conservative household, have groups of friends that are pretty straight-laced, and hell, not too long i was right in there with them.
but i've always respected what SG stands for. i love the hot women - i love the blemishes, the bruises, the reality of these pictures. most of all, i love the self-expression, the freedom to stand for something boldly. the fact that it happens to involve nudity is merely a plus in my book... a big, big plus - true. but the nudity seems to be the vehicle that has caused our society to open and recognize how beautiful imperfections and deviance can be and is.
i'm glad i've finally taken the step to join the SG community, even if my family and friends won't agree with my point-of-view. but dammit -- it's MY point-of-view, not theirs. and isn't expressing ourselves what this is all about?
