bored in my room today:
yesterday, i had lunch with my grandmother and then she dropped me off at the hospital to spend some time with my great grandmother. she is in there because of urinary tract infections. i didn't know this before, but in elderly folk, these can cause halucinations and temporary dementia, both of which my great grandma has been experiencing. i read to her from the book she was reading for two hours. occasionally she would stop to fill me in on the characters and supply related anecdotes from her own life. i enjoyed myself, thoroughly and have renewed appreciation for my youth. afterwards, i left the hospital and wandered about the southside untill i found a bus stop. there were some shady characters about, but luckily i had my cell phone and the ever chivalrous Mr.Mulhollanddrive was kind enough to stay on the phone with me while i made my way to s. congress to catch a bus. we had an amazing evening together as usual.
today, i made breakfast and scolded mulhollanddrive for drinking soda in the wee hours of morning. i went to class in the rain and then took part in some good old-fashioned social demonstration. i was forced to abandon my cool after recieving an e-mail last night about a disgusting display that the Young Conservative Texans at my school were going to put on. They planned to show their disdain for immigrant worker's rights by having members of their dreadful organization wear color coded t-shirt's, representing a different ethnicity/nationality with the words "illegal immigrant" on the front and "catch me if you can" on the back. they then planned to "hunt down" the "illegal immigrants". why not stage a god damn lynching, right there on the largest and most diverse university in the nation? well, let me tell you, no such "hunt" went down. there were four representatives from the YCT and at least 300 "others" assembled to celebrate humanity. i wish i had had my fucking camera with me. things got pretty heated as their were alot of impassioned souls outraged by the four narrow minded, spoiled, scared, white kids. you should have seen their terrified, helpless faces. i almost felt sorry for them. the whole thing is too much to explain but i think you get the picture...
i wrote alot...
