well, this is goodbye.
not a suicide note, silly! just a goodbye from the world of SG.
i don't know what else to say really. nothing negative at all. i owe some of my most compelling relationships, amazing experiences, adventures to this digital landscape.
i just don't feel like i belong as an entity on a computer screen. i don't myspace, livejournal, IM, etc. i have very mixed feelings about the progression of the information age. our new technologies, forums for communication, media, and entertainment have outpaced our morals, connection to the mundane, and inherent human intelligence even. bunch of damn monkeys pounding jibberish into a keyboard.
being in albuquerque, such a low-tech town, and hanging out with people who -gasp- also don't play video games has been such a nice refreshment. i don't mean to come off as if i'm looking down upon the tech world from a high horse. i think it's a marvelous, impressive, and wonderful thing. i'm simply saying i'm a fucken weirdo who belongs on a turn of the century farm.
so i'm off.
to focus on the tangible and that which is right in front of me. i have a hard enough time keeping my two feet planted firmly upon the earth. i tend to float and ebb and flow too much in the stars. i don't need this web entangling me as well.
life is good. people are good. the desert is good.
keep in touch, my interweb friends.

i'll keep this up for another week or so before switching back to anonymous.
adios, hasta luego.
