Stacy's bookstore, a fixture in downtown San Francisco, is closing. I shop there about once a week, and not just because it is located roughly 15 stories beneath my feet. It is one of the best independent bookstores I've had the pleasure to patronize, and it's given me the opportunity to pester my favorite authors on a regular basis, thanks to their excellent events schedule. I'm going to miss it.
