Well Carson City (which now prefers to be called "Carson", apparently) is not exactly Vegas, but it was a pleasant place nonetheless. And even those who clearly wanted me to get lost were fairly polite, in that gentle Western brush off sort of way. But I'll say this: my personal experience matches the conventional wisdom, Obama supporters are a lot more excited to vote than McCain supporters. I think he's got a shot in the state, but as a bunch of us were saying, if we are staying up late into the night caring about the Nevada vote, the night will have gone very badly, so I really don't expect it to swing the election (269-269 split? Ugh, let's not think about it.)
