Sorry I haven't updated in so long. I've left Germany now and am in Oklahoma. It looks like I'm going to go to the desert in the next few months. I've spent most of the last few weeks out in the field. Some units are getting trained up in preparation for going back to Iraq, and I was driving around one of the observers for their training. It wasn't that bad but I missed sleeping in my own bed and being able to go out at night and what not.

I know my last couple of entries have been kind of down, but I'm laying in bed this afternoon, thinking about how lucky I am. I have great friends, a girl who I'm really sweet on, everything. I really feel like I couldn't be luckier.

It's been a while since the last update. Things have kind of settled into the routine around here. Work, go out, the normal shit. Hmm, I found out today that a good friend of mine has checked himself into a hospital in the states because of combat stress. I was with him downrange and he just didn't seem to be bothered by anything there. I'm wondering by how much I dodged that bullet, if I did at all. So, I'm back in Germany, I got a Mini MKIV and alcohol poisoning all in one week. It's really nice to not be in Iraq any more. I'll write more later.
