Apple's technical support makes you forget how maddeningly inept everyone else's tech support is. I couldn't get a simple assembly-line instruction query answered about something I just bought. After calling a few times I realized none of the Belkin ''techs' I spoke to were techs at all. Nor were any of them particularly articulate. One of them actually went so far as to suggest I call back and just 'press 1.' That's what I did to reach you, smart guy. 'Uh, then press 2'. Hallelujah. Another was so good as to inform me that their offices were only open during standard business hours. So they're closed now? 'I don't know, you're talking to someone in India.'

I'm working on the rewrite of my first novel. Not doing Nanowrimo, just writing. I'd like to gradually discipline myself into being able to write every day over the course of this next year, but it will be a slow process.

It frustrates me at time that I have to work so hard to stay at the same level. To take it to a higher level? More work. And then I have to keep it that way. There are days I think moving to the woods and hiding would not be a bad thing.
