Hey peeps!!!
So week 2 of training is up! This week was a real up and down week!
My upper back muscles hurt and I have big bruises from running the ropes. I strained my groin for a couple of days which had me out and everyone was getting sick!
We learnt some new moves. We started learning correct form on running the ropes which was good but its hard to stripe across a 20ft ring in three steps! I got that down though and have good footwork on it. Then we included drop downs and tackles and leapfrogs! Crazy times! I don't have the ups for leapfrogs but I can run under them! I was so worried about headbutting someone in the balls but I should have had no fear! These guys have hang time!
We did body slams which I can proudly say I take really well! My best bump yet in fact and even though she slammed me hard it didn't hurt one bit! W00t! I still need to work on giving others body slams a bit but I'm getting there.
We also did armdrags which I uber love! Flying around the ring is uber fun!
We had a big talk about all the serious scary stuff in the wrestling business. About roids and pills and addiction and all the people Lance has worked with that are now dead. Depressing stuff!
But then today we had promo day and that was lots of fun! We all had a laugh and some guys were really good. I cut a promo on Bo and I didn't do too bad! My content was real good just need to work on my delivery a bit more! We will be doing another promo day soon! Hehe!
Tonight we are having some of the class over to watch some wrestling and then this weekend is all aout chillin! Bo hurt her ankle so she can't even really walk so its chillin out with movies and X-Box for us!
