So this week hasn't been too shabby at all!
Work has been entirely hectic! In fact its been the most hectic week in the two and a half years I've been there! We had to sack someone, had a huge investigation, constant system crashes, newbies and some thoroughly incompetent staff! I have been working like crazy but it has paid off as my manager asked me if I wanted to do my Team Manager assessment and i said yes! So now thats 3 promotions in 5 months! I feel good about that! Obviously I have to pass my assessment first but my manager is quite confident I will be ok even if I don't think so!
I went to see The Bravery on Tuesday night and they were fucking awesome! It was sold out and very very hot! The support bands were entirely rubbish so me and Arthur went to the bar and got hammered. Then the Bravery came on and we started going crazy and all these stupid annoying girlies with weird stuff on the faces were getting really pissed off with us. So we went to the very front and went crazy. I adore this band. Every time I see them live they never disappoint and I've never seen them in such a small venue or so close to the front so I was happy. All my photos are blurry but I have a clear mental image of the lead singer being all geeky, sweaty and rockstar firmly in my head. He is entirely orgasmic.
Last night I watched the first episode of Studio 60 on the sunset strip and I thought it was really good. I've been looking forward to it as Aaron Sorkin is involved and West Wing ruled my life for many years. I was intrigued by the first episode and wanted more. I discovered that the whole first series has already been on in the states. Its almost all downloaded!
Looking forward to tomorrow evening when I shall be invading the house of CreamyGoodness for meaty pizza and wrestling mayhem!
