I'm trying to be healthy and stuff at the moment. Going to the gym every other day, no take-aways, eating meals I actually make myself rather than microwave garbage and frozen crap (except potato waffles which I cant live without!!!). Its going ok so far. I had three portions of fruit and a yoghurt for breakfast go me! Trying to tone up more and just be ion better shape too. I'm just one of those girls that doesn't put that much effort in and I don't really care what other people think of how I look so it really is just for me!
Also Im totally procrastinating from revision for my exams. Theres so much and its so hard! Blah! Im in 2nd year psychology and its starting to be pretty difficult. Anyways I have made a kinda revision timetable which I will stick to now. Im also planning my days out so that I allow myself to do things like check out SG and other interweb stuff without letting it take up a huge proportion of my day :-S
But I do have work again this evening from 5-10. I work in a call centre and its actually good fun most of the time. And occasionally, when its dead, they pay me to read! Woo! Luckily its Monday which means its Route night the main local alternative night! Yay! So will get a nice wind down after work!
I do street teaming for a lot of places so I will probably occassionally put links up to tracks that have impressed me or talk about albums and gigs a lot! I guess thats one of my passions, live music! Or music generally - I couldn't live without music I don't think its a force thatd rives me and keeps my emotions on edge. And sometimes its great to sing along into a hairbrush to or rock out in the living room! I love listening to new bands, discovering new music and unsigned talent as well so if you have a band or know a good one leave me a link! :-D
So without further ado I begin, just had my first listen to the new Khoma album 'The Second Wave' and I think its pretty wow! Its out on 3rd April in the UK not sure about elsewhere but I suggest you check it out! They are from Sweden and have just this soul catching sound I don't really know how to describe! I think fans of Cave In would really like them! You can have a wee listen here though
Oh and a wee treat if theres any Caliban fans about? Heres a link to an mp3 of one of the songs from the new album out March! Meep!
