tis a pretty chunky book that. ewan mcgregor has said there's no fucking way he's gonna be part of filming it as well in not so many words, its shite. its not a great book, but neither was the first one, however, because of how the first one was written they were able to take the more interesting and funny parts of it and build a narrative around renton's character.
this one centres around a single plot idea, rather than little stories about each character, so theres not so much scope. i thought the end lacked any real imagination and the whole thing about the wussy kid who discovers he has a massive dick and is therefore useful in the world is crap also. ending every spoken sentence with ken is as bad as punctuating with innit as well, ken.
