I'm a writer again. I've been putting my aspirations of being a screenwriter on hold to pursue this band thing. But the desire to write has always been at the back of my mind, like an itch that needed to be scratched. So, I've slowly been building up the urge until it becomes a giant ball of energy just waiting to explode.
Well, it exploded some time last week, when I wrote a treatment for a short screenplay that I want to right. Then I wrote another short story as idea for a possible short screenplay to be written in the near future. This led me to call up my sister to discuss a screenplay we're writing together. The energy really has taken off and I'm up and running again.
I'm really excited about my vampire screenplay that I've been writing. I guess you can describe it as Pulp Fiction meets Anne Rice. I've been incorporating a lot of Nietzsche's philosophy of the Ubermensch in it. If I ever get the thing finished and if I ever sell it, I think it would be exciting and original. But don't all us writers think that way about everything we write?

I've always wanted to write. I just never get around to the actual writing part of writing.
